AfroFuturism and Renaissance art both have a serious tone to them but they are totally different art genres. AfroFuturism has a theme of black futures that stemmed from history. Whereas Renaissance art has this classic and religious theme. AfroFuturistic art typically has vibrant colors in it’s artworks. Renaissance art has a dull color tone. AfroFuturistic art gives off the energy of black excellence and heroism, whereas Renaissance art gives off the energy of realism of Romans and Greeks.
